James Halloran
The Arts Club of Washington | January 6 - January 28

On January 6th 2012, I will have an opening reception at the prestigious Arts Club of Washington. Alongside two artists, Kelly Passante and Susan Vallon, I will be exhibiting at the historic Monroe House, formerly the home of President James Monroe.

Most exciting is that I will be displaying both still life and landscapes, with a handful a new additions in the landscape category. Please join me to show your support and for an enjoyable night in the city!

Opening Reception: January 6th, 6:30-9:30 pm, Curator's Talk, 7:15 pm

Gallery Hours: Tuesday-Friday 10 am-5 pm, Saturday 10 am-2 pm

2017 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006-1804 (in the historic James Monroe House)

The show runs until January 28th.
Eye for an Eye | One Time Promotion

Our beloved two year old Maltese/Bichon, Tuddy (rhymes with woody), has heriditary cataracts. Last fall, she had one successfully removed in her left eye. To our dismay, she is rapidly losing her eyesight in her right eye. The surgery is very costly, but essential.

Just in time for the holidays, I will be taking commissions to paint your pet’s eye (and everything around it) at half cost, to help raise funds for the surgery.

For a 6” x 6” painting, I will charge only $100.

All I’ll need is a good photo to work from and a few weeks to paint. Cats are welcome too. To see examples of eye portraits, please click here.

I don’t want anyone feeling guilty, so know we are proceeding no matter what.

Please contact me and thanks for your support!
